मातृ दिवस/Mother’s Day

नास्ति मातृसमा छाया, नास्ति मातृसमा गतिः।

नास्ति मातृसमं त्राणं,नास्ति मातृसमा प्रपा।

माता के समान कोई छाया नहीं, कोई आश्रय नहीं, कोई सुरक्षा नहीं। माता के समान इस दुनियाँ में कोई जीवन दाता नहीं।

आज अंतराष्ट्रीय मातृ दिवस के अवसर पर मैं विश्व की सभी माताओं के चरणों में मेरा कोटि-कोटि वंदन एवं नमन करता हूँ। वास्तव में आज का दिन बहुत ही पवित्र एवं महत्वपूर्ण है। मैं मातृ दिवस के इतिहास में नहीं जाना चाहूँगा कि कब शुरुआत हुई आदि क्योंकि इस तथ्य को लगभग सभी लोग जानते हैं, यदि नहीं भी जानते हैं तो सूचनाओं के विभिन्न माध्यमों से प्राप्त कर सकते हैं।

यह कटुसत्य है कि इस पृथ्वी पर जितने भी प्राकृतिक मनुष्य हैं उन सभी ने अपनी माँ की कोख से जन्म प्राप्त किया है। जैसा कि उपरोक्त श्लोक में स्पष्ट रूप से कहा गया है कि माँ के समान कोई छाया नहीं है, कोई अन्य शरण स्थल नहीं है। माँ जैसी कोई सुरक्षा प्रदान नहीं करा सकता है ये हम सब अपने जीवन के अनुभव से जानते हैं।

माँ जैसी कोई हमें सुरक्षा प्रदान नहीं करा सकता है ये वास्तव में परम सत्य है। अब कोई इस बात पर विवाद करे कि माँ से बढ़कर भी इस लोक में हमें सुरक्षा मिल सकती है जैसे कि दुनियाँ के बड़े-बड़े नेताओं, राष्ट्राध्यक्षों, अमीरों आदि को मिलती है जिसमें परिंदा भी पर नहीं मार सकता है। हाँ मैं इस बात को नकार नहीं रहा हूँ। जरा सोचिये जब उक्त लोग अपनी माँ के गर्भ में थे तो क्या उनकी सुरक्षा इन बंदूकधारियों ने की थी? नहीं न। जब हम माँ के पेट में थे तब माँ ने बहुत ही संभल के कदम रखे कि कहीं मेरे बच्चे को चोट न लग जाये। ज्यादा ठंडा या गर्म नहीं खाया पिया जिससे की बच्चे को नुकसान न पहुँचे। कभी अपने हिसाब का भोजन नहीं किया जिससे बच्चे को हानि हो। ऐसी तमाम बातें हैं जिसका माँ ने हमारे दुनियाँ में आने से पहले ही ध्यान रखा।

जब हमारा जन्म हुआ उस समय भी माँ सबसे अधिक दर्द से गुजरी मगर हमारी सुरक्षा के लिए सब कुछ न्योछावर कर दिया ख़ुशी-ख़ुशी। इतना ही नहीं जब हमें रोने के अलावा कुछ आता ही नहीं था तब भी माँ ने हमारे दुःख को महसूस करके सुरक्षा दी, भोजन आदि दिया। जब हमें साफ सफाई का बोध नहीं था और मल-मूत्र लेटे-लेटे अथवा बैठे-बैठे कर लेते थे तब भी हमें कहीं ठण्ड न लग जाये, कहीं बीमार न पड़ जाये उसके लिए खुद हमारे द्वारा पेशाब से गीले किये गए विस्तर पर लेट जाया करती थी और हमें सूखे पर लिटाया करती थी। याद है न?

ये तो कुछ भी नहीं भाई! और याद करो। जब हम किसी का काम बिगाड़ देते थे तब भी माँ हमारा ही पक्ष लिया करती थी। हम अगर सो रहे होते थे तब माँ का चादर या रजाई ओढ़ा दिया करती थी कि कहीं हमें सर्दी न लग जाये आदि-आदि अनगिनत चीजें हैं जो हम सबकी माँ ने हमें सुरक्षा प्रदान करने के लिए हमारे लिए की हैं। थोड़ा सा अगर सोचेंगे तो सब समझ सकते हैं।

ये बात भी सही है कि माँ के समान कोई जीवनदाता नहीं है। हमें जन्म देने के लिए वह 9 महीनों तक कष्ट, त्याग से गुजरी है। एक-एक दिन बहुत ही सावधानी से गुजारा है। कितनी सावधानी से हमें जन्म दिया है, जरा सोचिये। माँ चाहती तो जन्म देते ही हमारी हल्के से गर्दन मरोड़ देती तो शायद हम इस दुनियाँ में न होते मगर उसने निस्वार्थ भाव से हमें जन्म दिया, पालन एवं पोषण किया। बचपन में ऐसे कई अवसर आये होंगे जब माँ ने हमें जीवन प्रदान कराया होगा। हो सकता है ये सब अब हम भूल गए हों।

ये बाते मैं खुद अपनी माँ की कृतज्ञता को याद करते हुए लिखने की कोशिश कर रहा हूँ। मेरी माँ वास्तव में बहुत ही दयालु, करुणामयी एवं प्यारी थी। मुझे पूरी उम्मीद है कि आप सभी की माँ भी ऐसी ही होंगी। जो कुछ भी हममें संस्कार है हम सबने अपनी माँ की छत्र-छाया में रहकर प्राप्त किये हैं जिसकी वजह से समाज में हमारी लोग प्रसंसा एवं आदर करते हैं। सोचिये अगर हमें चोरी, व्यभिचार, जुआ खेलने, शराब पीने आदि के बारे में सिखाया होता तो हमारा क्या हाल होता?

माँ का प्यार निस्वार्थ होता है तथा सभी बच्चों के लिए समान होता है। वह कभी भी भेद नहीं करती है, कभी कुछ अहित नहीं चाहती है। अगर किसी माँ का बच्चा जल में डूब रहा हो या आग में जल रहा हो तो वह बिना देर एवं प्राणों की परवाह किये बच्चे को बचाने हेतु जल अथवा आग में कूद पड़ती है। वह कभी भी संदेह नहीं करती है कि मेरा बच्चा बड़ा होकर मेरी देखभाल करेगा कि नहीं, भोजन एवं आवास की व्यवस्था करेगा कि नहीं आदि। यह सब कारुणिक ह्रदय की वजह से होता है। उनकी करुणा की थाह लेना मूर्खता ही होगी ऐसा मुझे प्रतीत होता है।

हम सब सामाजिक प्राणी हैं। हम समाज में रहकर देखते हैं कि एक माँ 10 बच्चों को भी पाल-पोश कर सक्षम बना देती हैं मगर 10 बच्चे मिलकर भी एक माँ का भरण पोषण न करके उनको उनके हाल पर छोड़ देते हैं, ऐसे भी कुछ उदाहरण हमें देखने को मिल जाते हैं। कुछ बच्चे उनको बेघर कर देते हैं, कुछ तो उनको बहुत ज्यादा प्रताड़ित करते हैं जो कि असहनीय एवं कुकृत्य है।

दोस्तों आपको अनगिनत पत्नियाँ, रिस्तेदार, दोस्त, भाई-बहिन मिल जायेंगे मगर जिस माँ की कोख से जन्म लिया वह माँ आपको कभी भी नहीं मिल सकती है। मैं यह पोस्ट लिखते समय अपनी माँ को बहुत याद कर रहा हूँ काश वो होतीं तो शायद मैं भी उनकी गोद में सिर रखकर सुकून पा लेता मगर नसीब में नहीं दोस्तों। अगर आपकी माँ अभी इस दुनियाँ में हैं तो उनको बहुत प्यार करो, उनका ख्याल रखो एवं उनकी सेवा करो अन्यथा जाने के बाद सिर्फ और सिर्फ पश्चाताप ही करोगे मगर तब तक बहुत देर हो चुकी होगी।

अंत में मैं ऐसे स्वार्थी लोगों से कहना चाहता हूँ जो अपने क्षणिक लाभ के लिए अपनी माँ की भावनाओं को कुचल देते हैं। उनको रुलाते हैं, बात नहीं करते हैं, उनका दिया हुआ भोजन यूँ ही रखा छोड़कर चल देते हैं। दोस्तों माँ का नजरिया एवं परख हमसे कहीं ज्यादा उच्च स्तर की होती है उसे स्वीकार करना चाहिए। जितनी हमारी उम्र होती है उससे कहीं बढ़कर उनका अनुभव एवं तजुर्बा होता है इसलिए माँ कभी गलत नहीं हो सकती है ये मैं अनुभव कर सकता हूँ।

हद तो तब हो जाती है जब बच्चे माँ को मजबूर कर देते हैं, उनके सामने अपने स्वार्थ के लिए सर्तें रख देते हैं कि अगर आप ऐसा करोगी तो मैं ऐसा करूँगा/ करूँगी। सिर्फ अपनी एक जिद और चाहत के लिए दुश्मन जैसा रवैया अपना लेते हैं, उनसे बोलना छोड़ देते हैं। छोटी सी बातों को लेकर बच्चे तंज कसते हैं कि मेरे लिए कर ही क्या दिया है? सब कुछ तो मैंने खुद कर लिया आदि-आदि। अगर आप थोड़े सफल हो गए, जेब में पैसे आ गए, सौहरत मिल गई तो ये सब माँ के द्वारा तैयार की गई हमारी प्रष्टिभूमि की बजह से है क्योंकि अगर उसने हमें काबिल न बनाया होता, ध्यान न दिया होता तो शायद जिन्दगी नरक होती। ऐसे बच्चों को मैं सिर्फ दुष्ट एवं निकृष्ट ही कहूँगा। एक चाहत के लिए तमाम रिश्तों की परवाह किये बिना पैरों तले रौंद देते हैं। अगर आप वास्तव में एक माँ के बच्चे हो तो आपको उनकी कृतज्ञता को समझना चाहिए।

कहने को बहुत है मगर सब यहाँ नहीं लिखा जा सकता है, ये तो सिर्फ और सिर्फ महसूस ही किया जा सकता है। अगर वास्तव में मातृ दिवस के अवसर पर माँ को शुभकामनायें देना चाहते हैं तो उनको हमेशा खुश रखो, उनको उदास एवं मजबूर न करो। माँ के प्यार के बिना सच में बहुत ही अधूरा एवं खालीपन सा प्रतीत होता है। माँ की कृतज्ञता को याद करने के लिए वर्ष में सिर्फ एक ही दिन ही नहीं होता बल्कि हर पल हमें कृतज्ञ रहना चाहिए। हम चाहें उनको सुख सुविधाएँ दे दें, धन दे दें और सोचे कि मैंने उनका जो भी कर्ज था लौटा दिया तो इस प्रकार की सोच एकदम निम्न स्तर की होगी। दूसरों से लिए हुए कर्ज को आप लौटा सकते हैं मगर माँ के दूध का कर्ज जन्मों-जन्मों तक नहीं चूका सकते हैं। अगर हमसे जाने या अनजाने में कोई गलती हो गई है, उनका दिल दुखाया है तो आज से बेहतर दिन और क्या हो सकता है।

Like mother there is no shadow, no shelter, and no other protection. There is no life giver in this world like mother.

Today on International Mother’s Day, my best wishes and greetings at the feet of all the mothers of the world. In fact, today’s day is very sacred and important. I would not like to go into the history of Mother’s Day, when it started etc. Because almost everyone knows this thing, even if they don’t know, they can get information through different mediums.

It is a matter of fact that all the natural human beings on this earth have all taken birth from their mother’s womb. As clearly stated in the above verse, there is no shadow like mother, there is no other place of refuge. No one can provide protection like mother; we all know this from our life experience.

No one like Mother can provide us security; this is indeed the ultimate truth. Now someone should dispute that we can get security in this world even more than the mother, such as the protection of the world’s big leaders, heads of state, the rich, etc., in which even bird cannot enter. Yes, I am not denying this. Just think when the said people were in their mother’s womb, were these gunmen protected them? No. When we were in the mother’s stomach, the mother took very careful steps so that my child does not get hurt. Did not eat too cold or hot, so as not to harm the child. Never take food according to your account which may harm the child. There are many things that mother took care of even before our arrival in the world.

When we were born, Mother also went through the most pain, but gave up everything for our skill and happiness. Not only this, when we did not know anything except to cry, Mother also gave us protection, food etc. after realizing our grief. Even when we had no sense of cleanliness and we used to lie down on the stool or urine or sit and sit still, we should not get cold, do not fall ill for that we lay ourselves on the bed wet Used to go and lay us down on the drought. Do you remember?

This is nothing, brother! And remember Mother used to favor us even when we spoiled someone’s work. If we were sleeping, then the mother’s bed sheet or quilt used to cover us so that we do not get cold, etc. – There are countless things that our mother has done for us to provide us security. If you think a little, then everyone can understand.

It is also true that there is no life donor like mother. She has gone through 6 months of suffering, sacrifice to give birth to us. Every day has been spent very carefully. Think about how carefully we have given birth. If mother had given birth, she would have twisted our neck lightly at the time of giving birth, we might not have been in this world, but she gave birth, nurtured and nurtured us selflessly. There must have been many occasions in childhood when mother had given us life. We may have forgotten all this now.

I am trying to write this thing in memory of my mother’s gratitude. My mother was really very kind, compassionate and lovely. I sincerely hope that you all will be like this as well. Whatever is the rite in us, we have received it by living under the umbrella of our mother, due to which our people in the society praise and respect us. Think if we had been taught about theft, adultery, gambling, drinking alcohol etc. what would have happened to us?

Mother’s love is selfless and same for all children. She never makes any distinction, never wants anything harm. If a mother’s child is drowning in water or burning in fire, then without delay and care for life, she jumps into water or fire to save the child. She never doubts that my child will grow up and take care of me or not, will he arrange food and accommodation, etc. This is all due to the coronary heart. It seems to me that it would be foolish to fathom their compassion.

We are all social animals. While living in the society, we see that a mother enables 10 children to be nurtured but 10 children together do not nurture a mother and leave them in their condition, we also get some such examples. Huh. Some children make them homeless, some torture them a lot which is unbearable and unfortunate.

Friends, you will find countless wives, relatives, friends, brothers and sisters, but you can never find the mother whose womb was born. I am missing my mother a lot while writing this post, I wish she would have been relaxed if I had kept her head in my lap, but not friends. If your mother is in this world right now, love them very much, take care of them and serve them, otherwise after leaving you will only repent and only but by then it will be too late.

In the end I want to say to such selfish people who crush their mother’s feelings for their momentary benefit. They make them cry, they do not talk, and they leave their food just like that and leave. Friends, mother’s attitude and judgment is of a much higher level than us, she should be accepted. They experience and experience far more than our age, so I can experience this mother can never be wrong.

The limit is reached when the children force the mother; they keep conditions for their selfishness in front of them that if you do this, I will do it. Only for stubbornness and desire, children adopt an attitude like that of the enemy, they stop speaking to him. I will only call such children wicked and evil. Children tighten up about small things as to what they have paid for me? I have done everything myself etc. If you have become a little successful, you have money in your pocket, you get money, then it is all from the limelight created by our mother because if she had not made us capable, she would not have paid attention, life would have been hell. Regardless of all relationships for a love, they trample under their feet. If you are indeed a mother’s child, then you should understand her gratitude.

There is much to say, but not everything can be written here, it can only be realized only. If you really want to wish your mother on the occasion of Mother’s Day, then always keep her happy, do not make her sad and compelling. Without mother’s love, it seems very incomplete and empty. There is not only one day in the year to remember the gratitude of the mother, but we should be grateful every moment. If we want to give them pleasure facilities, give them money and think that I have returned whatever debt they had, then this kind of thinking will be very low level. You can repay the loan taken from others, but you cannot repay the debt of mother’s milk even for births. If we have made any mistake, knowingly or unknowingly, their heart has hurt, what better day than today.
